Texas Elk Company is a family owned and operated business. Father and son team, Darrell Franks, DVM and Todd Franks, founded the ranch in 1994 with 500 head of elk on 160 acres of family farming land. The Franks’ focus was to produce the highest quality elk products available and they succeeded. Today, Texas Elk Company is a gourmet retailer supplying a nationwide customer base with award winning products.
